Two men face multiple charges after police, investigating a report of a woman in distress, seized drugs and a gun in Oshawa.

The incident began around 7:45 pm on Friday, Nov. 25, when officers responded to a report of a woman being forced into a residence in the area of ​​Bloor Street and Ritson Road, Durham police said. Tactical Support Unit members entered the house and found two suspects allegedly hiding inside.

Further investigation led to the seizure of suspected fentanyl and a loaded handgun, police said.

Victor Boodoo, 33, of Oshawa, faces 20 charges, including uttering threats, assault with a weapon and weapons offences. Jordan Loveday, 31, of Oshawa, is charged with forcible confinement, drug possession and breach of probation.
