One person is in critical but stable condition after an apartment fire in Oshawa on Saturday morning.
The fire occurred on July 3 at 1420 Ritson Road South. Police blocked the road in Ritson and Madawaska so that the fire department could fight the fire.
Upon arrival at the scene, two people were rescued and taken to hospital. One victim has since been released while the other is in critical but stable condition.
Displaced residents of the building were taken to the South Oshawa Community Center for temporary housing. The Durham Area Social Services are on site.
