Arson: Arson on the Oshawa tattoo parlor is taken into account arson and Durham Police need assist in figuring out the suspect

Police are treating a fire in an Oshawa tattoo parlor as arson and are calling on the public to help identify the suspect.

The incident occurred at around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, when police was informed of the fire at Motor City Tattoo by a passerby, Durham Regional Police reported.

Police found a smashed front door of the Wilson Road South store and officers used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, police added.

The Oshawa Fire Department came to help.

The suspect is described as a man, six feet tall, slim, wearing a black hoodie with a white emblem and a white mask. The man was seen outside the shop before breaking the glass. He fled on foot.
