Canadian Navy tall ship HMCS Oriole docked at Oshawa Pier
The oldest ship in the Royal Canadian Navy is in Oshawa for the next day.
The HMCS Oriole is docked at Lakeview Pier in Oshawa and will be open to visitors from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday, August 18.
As part of the annual Great Lakes Deployment, Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Oriole will visit communities throughout the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway. The ship will be open to visitors, so come on down and tour the RCN’s tall ship.
You can walk the decks of a 101-year-old tall ship to discover how the sails are raised, how sailers handle the lines and rigging harnessing the wind for every knot (bit) of speed.
The Oriole will head to Brockville for the next stop on the HMCS Oriole port tour.
