Do you acknowledge this man? Suspect wanted retailer clerk robbed, assaulted in Oshawa

Police are trying to identify a suspect in a July 28 robbery and assault at an Oshawa convenience store.

Police have issued an appeal for information as they try to identify a suspect in an Oshawa robbery during which a convenience store clerk was assaulted.

Officers responded to the 4 Seasons Convenience store on Wilson Road South at about 9:30 pm July 28 for a report of a robbery, Durham police said. A male suspect entered the store and selected items, then assaulted the clerk during a verbal altercation, the police said. The suspect took the merchandise and drove away in a cream-colored sedan.

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police are now trying to identify the suspect, described as a White man about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and glasses. He wore a red T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
