Grocer four Nicely on the best way!

Grocer4Good with the main purpose of employing people faced with various barriers to paid employment and skill building while providing essential goods at a low premium to serve an area that has limited access to fresh produce and the has daily food needs.

The store has been located at 133 Gore Street since it opened and continues down the street into a new and larger room. The last day at this location is Friday, December 17th at 6 p.m.

The new space at 147 Gore Street will be operational on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022. The opening times remain: Monday – Wednesday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday – Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 12 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Programming and partnerships while staying downtown.

“As an organization, we wanted to continue our critical skills development and professional training and combine healthy food preparation. The partnership with Ontario Works was natural as we are in close proximity to their location and can provide training for our G4G employees, volunteers and beneficiaries of Ontario Works. We will also be able to offer fresh baked goods for sale and continue to develop our products, focusing on local material as much as possible, ”said Lisa Vezeau-Allen, G4G President and Volunteer.

meaningful occupation. Partnering with G4G to launch Community Take Out Days gives individuals the opportunity to learn a variety of skills such as food preparation, soft skills and customer service, ”said Melissa Ceglie, Innovation Services
