“I began to tremble”: Oshawa man wins $ 100,000 lottery

Davy Wazny’s walk on the wild side made him $ 100,000.

The Oshawa resident won the money after playing the INSTANT WILD SIDE lottery game.

The 43-year-old father told OLG officials that he has been playing the lottery since he was old enough.

“I love the INSTANT games and am always looking for the newly released games,” he said at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto, where he picked up his award. “I was sitting in my truck playing my ticket thinking I had won $ 1,000. When I took my ticket to the store and found that I had won a lot more, I was impressed. I started to shiver – it must have been one of the biggest adrenaline rushes I’ve had in my life! “

Wazny, a transport worker, immediately called his wife. She didn’t believe him.

“I had to send her a photo of the ticket so she could believe it. She screamed, ”he laughed.

Davy said a trip to Hawaii was imminent. The rest of the money is saved, part is used for “housework”.

The winning ticket was purchased from Elderberry Convenience on Elderberry Drive in Oshawa.
