‘It is exhausting to explain this sense. It is pleasure and happiness’: Oshawa grandmother wins greater than $300Ok in lottery
Playing her kids’ birthdates when choosing lottery numbers paid off nicely for an Oshawa resident.
Jennifer Ramsingh, 53, collected $322,114 after winning a Lotto Max second prize in the May 17 draw.
“I checked my numbers while on my lunch break at work and ran to the lunchroom to call my husband,” she said while picking up her prize at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto. “I was shouting, ‘I won, I won!'”
A mother of three and grandmother of three, Ramsingh says she plans to help her kids, take a vacation and invest some of the money.
“It’s hard to describe this feeling. It’s joy and happiness,” she smiled.
The winning ticket was bought at the CNIB Kiosk in Walmart on Harmony Road North in Oshawa.
