Man after early morning stabbing in Oshawa. taken to the hospital

Officials responding to a report of a knife stab shortly after 3 a.m. found a victim in the Simcoe Street and Olive Avenue area with injuries to his leg, Durham police said.  The 41-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death in Oshawa early Friday October 8th.

Officials responding to a report of a knife stab shortly after 3 a.m. found a victim in the Simcoe Street and Olive Avenue area with injuries to his leg, Durham police said. The 41-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An unknown suspect approached the victim and stabbed him before escaping on foot, police said.

The investigation continues.
