Motorcyclist suffers critical accidents in Oshawa crash

A motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries following a collision in Oshawa.

On Friday, Sept. 2 at about 8 pm, a Yamaha sport-style motorcycle was involved in a collision near the intersection of Park Road South and Fenlon Crescent, Durham Regional Police reported.

The motorcycle, driven by a 29-year-old man, was traveling northbound when it slammed into the rear of a sedan, which was also heading northbound, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a Toronto-area trauma center in life-threatening condition, police noted, adding the man remains in hospital and his condition has been downgraded to serious but stable condition.

The driver of the Saturn sedan wasn’t injured.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, conducted an investigation and the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
