No accidents as “a number of” photographs had been fired at Oshawa’s house

Durham Police are investigating a shooting near the Oshawa Center over the weekend.

No casualties were reported after shooting at a residential building in Oshawa.

An investigation began after reports of “multiple” shots were fired on Friday the 21st. Officers visited the area but found no victims or evidence of gunfire.

At around 7:30 p.m. that day, police were called to a residential building on Stevenson Road South, where a unit was damaged by gunfire, police said. The apartment was entered and no victims were found, police said.

In the further course of the investigation, the police focused on a red car that was nearby at the time of the incident. The vehicle was traveling south on Stevenson Rd. On Cartier Ave. west and north on Durham Street, police said.
