Ok-9 tracks, finds suspect in Oshawa crash
A Toronto man is facing several charges following a multi-vehicle crash in Oshawa.
On Saturday, May 14, Durham Regional Police officers were called to a collision at King Street East and Harmony Road.
A stolen red pickup truck had struck a vehicle and then struck another vehicle while trying to leave the scene, the police said in a tweet.
The driver of the stolen truck fled on foot, but a Durham K-9 officer and his dog tracked the suspect and he was arrested a short time later, police added.
An 18-year-old from Toronto is facing charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance, theft of a motor vehicle, failure to stop after an accident, two counts of failure to comply with a release order and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 .
