Oshawa capturing sufferer now charged: self-inflicted wound, police say

An investigation into a shooting in Oshawa in August revealed that the victim was self-inflicted by a gunshot wound, police said.

This man is one of two people charged in the incident that occurred on the Chevron Prince Path on Simcoe Street and Britannia Avenue on August 12, Durham Police said on Friday October 22, in an update with.

The officers, who arrived shortly before 8 p.m. on the day of the act, found a man with a gunshot wound. On the same day, the officers seized a pistol in a vehicle that was occupied by another person, police said.

The 20-year-old driver of this car was arrested on August 30th.

Izzeddin Alghussein from Pickering was charged, among other things, with the negligent use of a firearm.

Further investigations led to the arrest of the injured man on October 21, the police confirmed.

Ali Haider, 18, from Oshawa is charged with gun crimes, including negligent use of a firearm, firing a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
