The hall announced that the induction ceremony will be postponed to May 2022.
The five inductees were introduced at a meeting of the Oshawa Council in January 2020, with the ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, October 7th. This had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
The hall had hoped to hold the ceremony in May or June of this year, but had to be postponed again.
The newcomers include Brent Grieve as a hockey player, Cheryl MacNeill as a player / builder in lacrosse, Randy Richards as a player / builder in ski jumping, Vaso Vujanovic as a builder in soccer and the all-star of the U18 boys from Oshawa team (1966-67) as a hockey team.
The hall is located in the Tribute Community Center in downtown Oshawa.
