Oshawa’s council candidates as of June 10
Oshawa’s election race for the upcoming municipal election is getting busy — with new candidates ready to face off in the fall.
The nomination period for the fall municipal election opened on Monday, May 2. Since then, several people stepped up to run to fill the council seats.
Oshawa’s candidates as of Friday, June 10 are:
Majors: Dan Carter, Joe Ingino
Ward 1 City Councilor: Ahmad Rashed Formuly
Ward 2 Regional Councilor: Tito-Dante Marimpietri
Ward 2 City Councilor: Jonathan Giancroce
Ward 4 Regional Councilor: Rick Kerr
Ward 4 City Councilors: Kristine Dandavino, Dave Thompson
Ward 5 Regional Councilor: Brian Nicholson
