Oshawa’s council candidates as of Might 4

Oshawa already has five candidates running in the next municipal election.

The nomination period for the fall municipal election opened on Monday, May 2. In the first days of the nomination period, several people stepped up to run to fill the council seats.

Oshawa’s candidates as of early Wednesday, May 4 are:

Major: Dan Carter

Ward 2 Regional Councilor: Tito-Dante Marimpietri

Ward 2 City Councilor: Jonathan Giancroce

Ward 4 City Councilor: Kristine Dandavino

Ward 5 Regional Councilor: Brian Nicholson
