Police search suspects in Oshawa distracted theft

Police are looking for three suspects after an elderly woman had her purse stolen and PIN number captured in Oshawa.

On Thursday, May 5, the victim was shopping at the Walmart on Laval Drive when suspects followed her and managed to get her PIN number while she made a purchase, Durham Regional Police said.

The three suspects then distracted the victim in the parking lot, stole her purse and later used the bank card at different locations, police noted.

The first suspect is described as an older man in his 50s or 60s, tanned complexion, gray hair, glasses, a dark full suit, light blue shirt and black dress shoes.

The second suspect is a white woman with long brown hair, 35 to 45 years of age, a white-red-blue jacket, and camo pants.

The third suspect is a white man, short brown hair, facial hair, 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a black hoodie and pants.
