Denver Breakfast Kings Slumber expands its empire to Colorado Springs on April 24th with a list of breakfast and brunch favorites
The 10th Colorado location finally gave Colorado Springs fans an excuse to eat staples like upside down pineapple pancakes, the Chile Verde Benny, and Juan’s breakfast tacos. Pot pie for breakfast, shaksuka in the morning, pancakes, French toast filled with mascarpone and even healthier appetizers such as protein frittatas and cereal bowls are on the menu.
Guests can kick off the party with dirty drunken chai with rum, straight up or spicy Bloody Marys, a morning margarita or horse & sidecar, an overdone Bloody Mary with ham, cheddar cheese, an olive, cucumber and side of beer.
The restaurant with 129 seats has a dog-friendly terrace with 52 seats, all of which are decorated in a retro style.
While opening in Colorado Springs, the restaurant is partnering with the Catamount Institute, Colorado Springs Food Rescue, and The Home Front Cares.
