Teenagers and adults charged with intercourse trafficking in Oshawa women

A teenage girl is one of two suspects charged by the Durham Police Department’s human trafficking unit.

The investigation began in November 2020 when officials found a 16-year-old girl trafficked at a hotel in Oshawa, police said. With the help of police in Waterloo and Guelph, two suspects were identified and arrested.

The indicted are Nicholas Hill, 33, of Hurontario Street in Mississauga, and a 15-year-old girl from Toronto. The teenager’s identity is protected by the Juvenile Criminal Law Act.
