Shoppers Drug Mart, 784 Taunton Road. E. Oshawa was inspected on Saturday June 12th and contacted for:
• Unsatisfactory cleaning and disinfection of the premises to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
• Do not create a complete security plan, display it and make it available to employees and visitors. This was corrected during the inspection.
Business inspection reports on the Durham Department of Health website showed that as of Saturday, Nov.
The highest number of red flags this week went to:
One Eyed Jack’s Pub and Grill at 33 W. Taunton Road in Oshawa inspected on Wednesday June 16:
• There is no physical distancing between employees, guests and visitors on the premises.
• Unsatisfactory cleaning and disinfection of the premises to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This was corrected during the inspection.
• No policy in place to ensure that staff, guests and visitors wear non-medical masks / face covers when necessary and when physical distance cannot be maintained.
• Failure to comply with the capacity / accumulation limits set by the province.
• Do not create a complete security plan, display it and make it available to employees and visitors.
• Do not ensure that personnel wear adequate personal protective equipment when required.
• Not in accordance with advice, recommendations, and instructions from the Durham Area Department of Health to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
June saw only 3 ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks in Durham workplaces – none from retail, food processing, or food and beverage services, according to Durham Health’s COVID-19 data tracker.
