Trio, charged with the homicide of Ajax man, was arrested on the positioning of a standoff with Durham Police in Oshawa

Homicide investigators are investigating the death of a man in a residential area of ​​Ajax early Thursday, November 11th.

Three people were charged with second degree murder in the death of an Ajax man.

Maurice Fullerton, 33, was found with gunshot wounds in a house on Pembry Drive in Ajax at around 4:25 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, police reportedly reported.

The three suspects were arrested from a house on Highland Avenue in Oshawa after a six-hour confrontation with police.

During the stalemate, the nearby Clara Hughes Public School, St. Hedwig Catholic School, and David Bouchard Public School had a hold-and-secure order for most of the school day.

Devin Mandley-Byer, 22, Trevor Kotzma, 25 and Michael Rodgers, 25, have all been charged with second degree murder.

The death is the seventh murder in the Durham area this year, according to police.
