Two charged with break-ins concentrating on seniors in Oshawa

Two men have been arrested after an investigation into break and enter incidents that targeted seniors in Oshawa, police said.

In the first incident on March 3, an elderly woman reported that two men had entered her home on Lasalle Avenue through a rear window as she was sleeping and stole property including jewelry and cash, Durham police said. The suspects fled through a side door in the residence.

On March 5, a senior living on Mohawk Street reported that her kitchen had been disturbed and that personal property was missing, police said.

An investigation led to the arrests of Alexzander Patton, 26, and Justin Morgan, 25, both of Oshawa, on charges including break and enter and possessing property obtained by crime.
