Lori Frauts from Oshawa is set to plunge into luxury after a recent lottery win.
The 59-year-old won $ 100,000 after winning the Ontario Lottery Group instant jackpot.
Frauts plans to pay some bills and share the profits with their children.
“I am also considering installing a hot tub in my house,” she added.
She is a regular lottery player and her favorite games are instant tickets.
“I won $ 5,000 at bingo in 1998, so that’s my biggest win,” she said
Frauts went into the living room to ask her husband to double check her ticket.
“I said, ‘I think I won $ 100,000, can you please tell me what I did wrong?'” She said. “He didn’t know what he was seeing but exclaimed excitedly to check on his phone.”
Since her hands were shaking so badly from the shock, Lori decided to call her daughter instead of writing.
“I’m thrilled when I win $ 10, so that was unworldly,” said Frauts.
The winning ticket was purchased from Mac’s on King Street in Oshawa.
