A young Oshawa teen that was reported missing on Tuesday has been located safe.
In a late-evening tweet on Aug. 24, Durham police announced that 14-year-old Layla Shephard-Schmahl “has been located safe and sound.”
The teen was reported missing on Aug. 23 and police suspected she could be in the Toronto area.
