Warrant issued for suspect in Ajax, Oshawa robberies

A warrant has been issued for a suspect in connection with the robbery of convenience stores in Ajax and Oshawa and the theft of a vehicle in Whitby.

On Sunday, March 20, the Foodmart convenience store at Westney and Kingston roads was robbed. A week later, on Sunday, March 27, a suspect robbed the Glovers convenience store on Simcoe Street in Oshawa and store a vehicle from a home in Whitby.

A warrant has been issued for Nathan Paddock, 34, of no fixed address. He’s facing two counts of robbery, three counts of dangerous weapons, administering a noxious substance, assault with a weapon, two counts of disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle and six counts of failing to comply with probation.
