A Whitby man was flown to a trauma center in Toronto after a motorcycle accident.
The 51-year-old was on Sunday the 20th
The man was able to return home, where the Durham police and ambulance services were called at around 5:30 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital and then flown to a Toronto facility with life-threatening injuries. He is currently in critical but stable condition, added police.
Members of the DRPS Traffic Services Branch, Collision Investigation Unit, conducted an investigation and the area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
